Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Tenderytics collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to tenderytics.com and the Tenderytics application.
1. Who we are
Tenderytics (“we”, “us”) provides a tender and procurement-intelligence service for businesses bidding in Bangladesh, at tenderytics.com. We are the controller of the personal information described here. To reach us about privacy, see Contact us.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
Your name, email address, phone number and company name, and a password — which we store only as a secure one-way hash, so we never see or keep your actual password. During onboarding you may also tell us your business sector and the buyer types you care about.
Content you create in the app
Your saved searches and keywords, your bid list and watchlist, your projects (including milestones, payments and the securities you record), and the customer contacts, interactions and notes you add. This is your workspace, processed to provide those features.
Information collected automatically
A secure session cookie to keep you signed in, basic usage events (which features are used, to operate and improve the service), and — only if you enable them — web-push notification subscriptions.
Public procurement information
The tender notices and contract-award records shown in the app are public information published by government bodies and organisations. Where a public award record includes the name or address of a supplier’s proprietor, that comes from the public notice, not from you.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the service, and match relevant tenders to your profile;
- To send the alerts and reminders you choose to receive;
- To provide support and respond to your requests;
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (for example, limiting duplicate trial sign-ups);
- To understand how the service is used so we can improve it;
- To manage your subscription and payments.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell it.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a single, essential cookie to keep you securely signed in. It is HTTP-only and SameSite=Lax, and is set only after you log in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because this cookie is strictly necessary to run the service, it can’t be switched off inside the app — but you can clear it any time from your browser, which simply signs you out.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run Tenderytics — such as cloud hosting and database infrastructure, and email or messaging delivery — who act on our behalf, under confidentiality, and only as needed;
- With your team, if you invite colleagues to a shared workspace: they can see the shared projects, customers and settings in that workspace;
- For legal reasons, if required by applicable law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Tenderytics, our users or others.
6. Data retention
We keep your account and the content you create for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting or dispute-resolution needs. Public procurement records are maintained as a rolling archive. You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time — see Your rights.
7. How we protect your information
We use safeguards appropriate to the data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), one-way hashing of passwords, workspace-level isolation so one account cannot see another’s data, session controls, and regular security review. No online service can be perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any issue.
8. Your rights and choices
- Access & export — download a copy of your account and workspace data from your Account page (Privacy & your data), or ask us for it;
- Correct — edit your profile and workspace content directly in the app;
- Delete — request account deletion from your Account page, or by contacting us; we action verified requests within 30 days;
- Control notifications — turn alerts and push notifications on or off any time;
- Withdraw consent — stop using the service and ask us to delete your data.
If a data-protection law that applies to you grants further rights, we will honour them.
9. Where your data is processed
Tenderytics runs on reputable cloud infrastructure that may store or process data on servers located outside Bangladesh. Wherever your data is processed, we apply the protections in this policy. If Bangladeshi law comes to require specific local handling, we will comply.
10. Children
Tenderytics is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our service or the law changes. We’ll post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date, and highlight significant changes.
